    PARTIES ARE INSTRUCTED TO SUBMIT VIA ECOURTESY A STIPULATION AND AGREED ORDER INVOKING THE FLORIDA RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE FOR PIP CASES SCHEDULED FOR PRETRIAL CONFERENCES.  THEY MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE HEARING.  UPON SUBMISSION THE PARTIES APPEARANCES FOR PRETRIAL CONFERENCES WILL BE WAIVED.  NO STIPULATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE TIME OF PRETRIAL CONFERENCES.

    Criminal/Traffic Cases
    Defendants not represented by an attorney should call the Miami Beach Bench Warrant Hotline 305-520-4267 for instructions to get on the Criminal/Traffic Motion Calendar to set aside bench warrant.
    A written request is required. Submit as follows:
    1.    By fax 305-604-7887
    2.    By email: MBcriminalrequest@jud11.flcourts.org or
    3.    File in person at the Clerk’s Office.

    Written request MUST include the following:
    1.    Case number and
    2.    Defendant’s Name and
    3.    Telephone number and/or email address and
    4.    Brief explanation for failure to appear at court hearing.

    After filing of written request:
    If the Defendant failed to appear at first ARRAIGNMENT and Defendant has not had a prior bench warrant on the case, the bench warrant will be set aside and a new notice to appear will be mailed.
    If the defendant failed to appear at TRIAL or REPORT, the bench warrant will not be set aside and the Judicial Asst. will contact the defendant within 48 hours with further instructions.
