The Miami-Dade Courts have been made aware of an email scam that attempts to extort money from individuals through emails sent from an “@flcourts.net” domain.

This email domain is very similar to the domain for The Office of the State Courts Administrator (OSCA), ending in “@flcourts.org”. An unsuspecting recipient of such an email may not see the difference and think it is a genuine email communication from the Florida state courts system.

Any emails received from an “@flcourts.net” domain should be forwarded to local law enforcement.
