PLEASE JOIN US FOR UPCOMING “COMMUNITY CONNECT” EDUCATIONAL TOWN HALL MEETINGS ON JULY 21ST AND AUGUST 2ND
The Miami-Dade Courts welcome the public to a series of “Community Connect” Town Hall Meetings on the dates listed below.
During the town hall meetings, a panel of judges will answer questions from the public on common legal matters such as child support, juvenile delinquency, landlord/tenant issues, small claims, domestic violence, property issues, traffic violations and driver license suspensions.
The town hall meetings are educational in nature and aimed at answering general questions from the public on how to access the courts and how the law works in each of the types of cases mentioned above. The meetings are not designed to give legal advice or to discuss specific cases. However, information on how to obtain low- or no-cost legal assistance through Legal Services of Greater Miami will be available.
