As World Day Against Trafficking in Persons approaches this Sunday, we join efforts to raise awareness about human trafficking.
In 2015, @miamidadecourts established G.R.A.C.E. Court — at the time the first specialty court of its kind in the nation — devoted to the needs of children who have been identified as victims of commercial sexual exploitation and labor trafficking.
These children and their families are referred to local service providers who provide direct, trauma-informed treatment and services for this vulnerable population.
