Mr. Aaron Feuer, Esq. Appointed General Magistrate for the Probate Division

The Honorable Nushin G. Sayfie, Chief Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, has appointed Mr. Aaron Feuer, Esq., as General Magistrate for the Probate Division, effective March 20, 2023.

After serving in private practice on foreclosure defense law, Mr. Feuer began his public service career in 2012 when he joined the Florida Department of Children and Families, litigating child abandonment, abuse, and neglect cases in the Eleventh Circuit Dependency Division.

During his time at the Department of Children and Families, Mr. Feuer rose from Junior Attorney to Division Chief and then transferred to the Office of the General Counsel, where he represented the Department in matters of Licensing and Substance Abuse and Mental Health.

Mr. Feuer received his law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2004 and, after practicing in Indiana for several years, was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in 2011.

He is the recipient of numerous awards for public service, including the Florida Department of Children and Families’ “Excellence in Partnership Award" and an "Extraordinary Achievement Award for an Unprecedented 152 adoptions in 2018." Mr. Feuer also served as the Co-Chairperson of the Miami-Dade Bar Association Juvenile Courts Committee.
