Congratulations to Judge Lisa Walsh for receiving the Joan Dempsey Klein Award from the National Association of Women Judges recently.

This award is presented to a member judge for her efforts assisting women judges, solving problems associated with the judiciary, and working to increase the number of women serving as judges.

Judge Walsh has been a member of NAWJ since 2010, serving as President in 2015-2016. In 2012, she co-hosted NAWJ’s annual conference in Miami, Florida, together with Judge Myriam Lehr. Judge Walsh is currently the organization's International Director and serves as the North American Director representing the United States.
