The Miami-Dade Courts’ Virtual Jury Trial Pilot will resume on Monday, July 13, with final jury selection via Zoom followed by the remainder of the trial on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 14-15. An anticipated schedule and live-stream link are listed below.
Miami-Dade was one of five judicial circuits in Florida chosen to pilot the use of remote video appearance technology.
All phases of the Virtual Jury Trial Pilot are live-streamed and archived on the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s YouTube channel and are open to the public via livestream.
Anticipated Schedule for Week of July 13, 2020
Monday, Jul. 13: 9:30 a.m. Final Jury Selection
Tuesday, Jul. 14: 9:00 a.m. Opening Statements and Witnesses
Wednesday, Jul. 15: 9:00 a.m. Witnesses, Closing Arguments and Jury Deliberation/Verdict
