MIAMI-DADE COURTS TO CELEBRATE OPENING OF NEW
SELF HELP PROGRAM LOCATION AT SOUTH DADE JUSTICE CENTER
WITH GRAND OPENING SEPT. 26TH
The Miami-Dade Courts’ Self Help Program, which helps self-represented litigants obtain and correctly complete the required court forms for family matters such as divorces, paternity cases and name changes, has opened a new, additional location at the South Dade Justice Center.
The Self Help Program, a service of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s Administrative Office of the Courts, opened the new location to provide more convenient access to the courts for residents in the South Miami-Dade area.
“We recognize that Miami is a vast city and that transportation, as well as lengthy traffic delays, can present challenges for our community,” said the Honorable Bertila Soto, Chief Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. “By opening this new location at the South Dade Justice Center, we hope to provide more convenient access to the courts for our residents in southern Miami-Dade. We will continue to look for ways to make the courts more accessible to the public.”
To celebrate the opening of the Self Help Program at the South Dade Justice Center, the Miami-Dade Courts will hold a Grand Opening Ceremony at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26th. More details below and in the attached invitation.
Members of the public and the media are welcome to attend the Grand Opening as an opportunity to learn more about the Self Help Program and familiarize themselves with the new location.
