LAWSON E. THOMAS COURTHOUSE CENTER
TO REOPEN ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 4TH
FOR FAMILY AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CASES

The Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse Center, located at 175 NW 1st Avenue, will reopen on Friday, August 4, 2017, for regular business in the Family and Domestic Violence Divisions.
The Probate Division, which is located on the 11th floor where the greatest water damage was sustained, will not reopen to the public until Monday, August 7th.
Probate court staff, however, will return on Friday to prepare for Monday’s reopening of the Probate Division and should look for internal advisories with further instructions.
The building was closed on August 1st due to flooding from a roof drain impacted by significant rain.
Court employees who do not work at the Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse Center but use its parking facility may resume parking there on Friday.
