HURRICANE IRMA ADVISORY #2
MIAMI-DADE COURTS AND CLERK’S OFFICES WILL
REMAIN CLOSED ON MONDAY, SEPT. 11TH,
DUE TO HURRICANE IRMA
All Miami-Dade Courts and Clerk of Courts’ offices will remain closed on Monday, Sept. 11th, due to the expected arrival of Hurricane Irma in South Florida this weekend.
All Court proceedings previously scheduled on the dates of court closure (Sept. 7-8 and Sept. 11) will be re-scheduled and parties will be notified accordingly.
All bond hearings will be suspended on Saturday, Sept. 9th, and Sunday, Sept. 10th, 2017. All bond hearings on Monday, Sept. 11th, are expected to begin at 9am at the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building If there should be any changes to projected bond hearing schedules, updates will be provided.
The Miami-Dade Courts, in conjunction with its justice partners and local officials, will continue to closely monitor Hurricane Irma and its effects on South Florida and will provide updated information as soon as available. Any changes to court schedules will be in coordination with local authorities and the Miami-Dade School Board.
