Florida Supreme Court Issues Administrative Order AOSC20-23 Amendment 1 Extending the Suspension of all Jury Proceedings through July 2, 2020

 

Florida Chief Justice Charles T. Canady issued Administrative Order AOSC20-23 Amendment 1 on Monday, May 4th, extending the suspension of all grand jury proceedings, jury selection proceedings, and criminal and civil jury trials through July 2, 2020.

The previous limits on in-person hearings remain in effect. Court proceedings that can take place remotely via telephone or video technology will continue.
