YOU MUST CALL THE JUDGE'S CHAMBERS TO SET ALL HEARINGS. Once scheduled Notice must be submitted via E-courtesy.
All motions must be e-Filed through E-Portal (not e-Courtesy) and reflecting on the docket before requesting a hearing date.
If unable to agree upon a date with opposing counsel, you may reach chambers to add your motion on calendar. So long as opposing counsel is given a 7 business day notice.
Please provide paper copy of motion(s) to bailiff on the day of your hearing.
If you want to set more than one motion per case per hearing date, you must request a special set hearing.
Motions for Summary Judgment or Final Judgment must be set on our special set calendar.
With all motions, the movant is expected to have spoken with the opposing side in an attempt to resolve the issue. All motions must contain a certification to this affect. Failure to comply may result in the court rescheduling your motion until you have complied with this requirement. Additionally, at the hearing, you must be prepared to present proof of proper notice.
