pandemic, courthouses are closed for in-person hearings and trials, based on
public health advisories at the direction of the Florida Supreme Court.
COMMUNICATION WITH OUR OFFICE – We are open regular
office hours. If you have any questions, please call my Administrative
Assistant at 305-349-5688 and be
sure to provide her with your case number, phone number and email address. DO NOT EMAIL our Division anything other
than the items specified below unless requested to do so by my Administrative
ZOOM HEARINGS - A hearing in your case
will be held remotely via the ZOOM platform.
You will receive an email from the Court with the information you need to
connect to the virtual hearing. To participate by video, you must click on the
weblink you receive in the email invitation. You must provide a valid and
current email address so that we can email you the invitation link.
NO ONE OTHER THAN ATTORNEYS, LITIGANTS, WITNESSES, COURT REPORTERS
OR INTERPRETERS ARE PERMITTED IN THE ROOM WHILE THE ZOOM HEARING IS IN
PROGRESS. CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHIN HEARING RANGE OF THE ZOOM PROCEEDINGS.
INTERPRETERS - It is the responsibility
of the attorneys and parties to have an interpreter present
at the Zoom hearing. AN INTERPRETER
WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR YOU. You are expected to use a professional
interpreter not a relative or friend.

REPRESENTING YOURSELF - To file a pleading or a
motion, all attorneys and self-represented litigants must register at www.myflcourtaccess.com. Self represented litigants can also find help at www.jud11.flcourts.org/Family-Court-Self-Help-Program.
EXHIBITS AND WITNESS LISTS - Any Exhibits to be
introduced and your witness list (if applicable) must be emailed 48 hours prior
to the hearing to: 11THFCGM05@jud11.flcourts.org and be copied to the opposing party.
CONTINUANCES - Motions for Continuance of
a hearing scheduled before the Magistrate must be heard by the Magistrate. All Motions
for Continuance must be filed with the Court and emailed to 11THFCGM05@jud11.flcourts.org prior
to the scheduled hearing. A short Case Management hearing will be required
on Zoom even if the parties agree to the continuance so that a new hearing date
can be coordinated on record.
CANCELLATIONS - If your matter gets
resolved or you plan to withdraw or dismiss the pending referred matter, immediately
notify us at 11THFCGM05@jud11.flcourts.org.
No hearing will be taken off-calendar without a copy of the appropriate AGREED
ORDER OR SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE JUDGE or VOLUNTARY DISMISSAL being emailed
to 11THFCGM05@jud11.flcourts.org prior
to the scheduled Zoom hearing before the Magistrate.
PROPOSED REPORTS/RECOMMENDED ORDERS - Attorneys must
send in proposed Reports or Recommended Orders to: 11THFCGM05@jud11.flcourts.org in WORD document format within 10
days of the hearing. DO NOT send proposed
Reports/Recommended Orders through courtMAP.
SCHEDULING YOUR HEARING - To serve you better, this
Division uses courtMAP, but only for the purpose of self- scheduling special set hearings of less than two (2) hours. To schedule your own hearing visit courtMap at www.jud11.flcourts.org/Programs-and-Services/Online-Services/courtMAP. Select the date from the Magistrate's
Special Set calendar availability and submit your supporting documents (filed motion, etc.). All requests for hearings on courtMAP are subject to the approval of the Magistrate’s
