PROCEDURES CURRENTLY IN PLACE FOR EVICTION AND CONTRACT/INDEBTNESS CASES:

1. Plaintiffs attorneys are to send Defendants proposed settlement agreements. If the matter is able to be resolved, the Plaintiffs are Ordered to submit an Order of Dismissal or Stipulation through Court MAP.

2. Attorneys are able to coordinate and schedule hearings on Court Map.

3. If the Plaintiffs and Defendants are not able to come to a settlement, parties must appear for hearing (if one is scheduled) or request mediation.

IF YOU ARE AN ATTORNEY:

1. Please utilize Court Map to submit your motion, proposed orders and agreed orders.

2. Agreed Orders to Transfer: Please note that Court Map's functionality restricts the submission of orders that are not in the assigned division. If you have an Agreed Order to Transfer that you would like to file, kindly email the order directly to the Judicial Assistant. Judge Murray will review all emailed orders promptly.

3. Please be aware that Judge Murray exclusively rules on Motions to Transfer. For all matters related to consolidation, they will be addressed by the new assigned Judge. If you have any questions or concerns regarding consolidation matters, please direct them to the appropriate judicial office.

4. To ensure a smooth and efficient transfer process, we encourage you to review the transfer procedure documents available in the Hearing Documents section of this web page. Familiarizing yourself with the guidelines will help facilitate the handling of transfer-related matters.

SETTING MOTIONS TO TRANSFER:

1. If a hearing is required for your case, please note that Court Map will only allow cases assigned to Division CL 01 to be set on that particular calendar. If your case falls under a different division, kindly refer to the availability of the Motion Calendar mentioned on this web page. To schedule a hearing before Judge Murray, please email the Judicial Assistant with an agreed date and time. The Judicial Assistant will then ensure that the hearing is set in Judge Murray's division for your convenience.

2. When a case is assigned to a judge via Court Map, an automated event status message is generated, indicating that the case is with the assigned judge. We want to assure you that despite this automated message, your matter will receive the proper attention and consideration in front of Judge Murray.

SELF-REPRESENTED LITIGANTS:

The Eleventh Judicial Circuit encourages all self-represented litigants to register with the Florida Courts e-Filing Portal, a free service that allows parties to file documents and pleadings online, as well as receive electronic communications from the courts about their cases.
Registration is available at this link (https://www.myflcourtaccess.com/default.aspx).
