NEW MANDATORY CASE MANAGEMENT PROCEDURES:   In compliance with Florida Supreme Court Administrative Order 20-23A12 and the 11th Judicial Circuit Administrative Order 21-09, lawyers and litigants are required to follow the procedures below:

    1.  All cases filed BEFORE APRIL 30, 2021, you MUST submit CASE MANAGEMENT ORDER via CourtMAP under Proposed Orders.

    2.   DO NOT submit a Case Management Order if:
              a. There is already an EXISTING CASE MANAGEMENT ORDER setting forth all pretrial deadlines.
              b. Your case is already set for trial.
              c. Your case is currently on inactive status by court order.
              d. Your case is subject to current moratoria.
              e. Your case is subject to F.S. 51.011
              f. If your case has been Noticed for Lack of Prosecution Hearing (FWOP) unless it is being attached to your WRITTEN GOOD CAUSE SHOWING.
              g. Your case is uncontested.

      3.   If your case meets any of the exceptions listed above, you
MUST still follow the timeline requirements set forth in the 11th Judicial Circuit Administrative Order 21-09.

      4.   If your case was filed ON OR AFTER APRIL 30, 2021, the Court will issue a Case Management Order.


Coronavirus/COVID-19:   Courthouses are CLOSED for in-person hearings and trials based on public health advisories at the direction of the Florida Supreme Court.

The Circuit has moved to Zoom as a platform for remote hearings.  Schedule your hearings as usual (Motion Calendar / Special Sets) via CourtMAP.  FOLLOW ALL PROCEDURES AS INDICATED ON EACH PORTAL.


If you resolved your matter, please use the CANCELLATION function via CourtMAP and also call the Judge's Chambers.  Please wait until a day before your scheduled hearing for the court to send you an email containing a Zoom link and instructions.


JURY TRIAL - Fill out the Certified Trial Jury Readiness Form (SEE NOTICES FOR TRIAL TAB) and submit via CourtMAP when scheduling a Jury Trial.

Foreclosure Motion Calendar Days/Time:   Foreclosure Motion Calendar is held every Wednesday at 9:15 am.  Foreclosure Motion Calendar hearings are limited to ONE per day, 5 minutes per case.  Hearings NOT COORDINATED with "ALL" parties will be CANCELLED.

Submission of Original Notes:    DO NOT FILE  OR  DELIVER ORIGINAL LOAN DOCUMENTS UNTIL THE JUDGE SPECIFICALLY INSTRUCT YOU TO DO SO.   If motion is granted or mortgagee prevails at trial, the Final Judgment together with the original note/loan documents, copies of FJ, stamped, addressed envelopes and check for Clerk, are to be delivered to my attention to Room 911, Dade County Courthouse.  Use delivery with tracking.

courtMAP is a new online Management and Access Platform built upon technology infrastructure from Broward’s Court Management System.

courtMAP combines eCourtesy with online scheduling, online notification/confirmation, and allows judges to create and e-File orders. courtMAP also allows parties to self-schedule their case events - motion calendar, special sets, and trials - and attach the documentation previously submitted via eCourtesy.
