Motion Calendar in Division 2 is held in Courtroom (14-2) every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 A.M - 10:00am

Motion Calendar Procedures:

In order for your matter to be added to the Judge’s Motion Calendar, the notice of hearing and motion YOU MUST:
Coordinate hearing with opposing counsel.
File motion with the Clerk; and
Upload motion, including supporting documents, if any,  via CourtMAP under "Motion Calendar"  at least seven (7) days prior to the hearing  or the matter will NOT be heard.

Responses:  Parties wishing to submit a response to a matter set on Motion Calendar must file said response with the Clerk and submit it via CourtMAP under "Motion Calendar" case number and hearing date, prior to the hearing date.

Efiling is not the same as courtMAP. Matters that are only e-filed WILL NOT automatically upload to the Judge’s Motion Calendar. Efiling is for documents to be filed with the Clerk's Office electronically. CourtMAP is used to submit courtesy copies to chambers electronically.

Telephonic Appearances: Contact Chambers at least 48 hours prior to the hearing and advise who will be appearing by phone. On the day of the hearing call to check in with Chambers for the scheduled hearing. Make sure you speak to either the J.A., Bailiff or Judge to approve the check in. Provide the best number for the Judge to contact you from open court. Wait for the Judge's call. 

Cancellations:  Counsel for the party who placed a matter on the Motion Calendar shall file the notice of cancellation with the Clerk. If the case was set through CourtMAP you must cancel it through CourtMAP. If the motion was set prior to CourtMAP you must fax a copy to Division 2 at 305-349-7603 prior to scheduled hearing. 

Making Calendar:  In order to verify if your case made the Calendar: 
    a. Log onto Court Map;
    b. Select “calendar” on top;
    c. Select “show events by case”;
    d. Enter your case number & click on the magnifying glass; and
Your case hearings will populate

MOTIONS FOR FORECLOSURE MUST BE SET ON MOTION CALENDAR
