If your hearing is scheduled via Zoom platform you will receive an email a day before from the Court with the date and time of the hearing along with the Zoom ID.
To participate by video, you must click on the weblink you received in the email invitation at the time your hearing is scheduled. To participate by phone you must dial the phone number listed in the invitation.
Video appearance is required for any participant whose testimony is necessary so the Judge can administer the oath. Please wait until a day before your scheduled hearing for the court to send you an email containing a Zoom link and instructions. If you resolve your matter, please cancel it in CourtMAP or, if you have no access to CourtMAP, by emailing the Judge’s judicial assistant at drosario@jud11.flcourts.org. If you are unfamiliar with the Zoom platform, please go to the Zoom training page website to learn how to access the platform for use. This is the only method for filing and receiving pleadings and court notices. Important: In order to create a CourtMAP account, you must first register with the State of Florida’s E-Filing Portal for the case in which you are a self-represented litigant. If you have not registered your email for the case number with the E-Filing Portal, follow the below instructions in order to create a CourtMAP account. 1. Create an account with the Florida E-Filing Portal. 2. Complete the Designation of Current Service Address form. 3. Remote UCD Calendar for Division FC19 – Judge Veronica A. Diaz
A remote UCD calendar is held Tuesdays @ 8 AM. Once your case is resolved, you may set your case on the Uncontested Calendar on COURTMAP. Judge Diaz’s UCD calendar can be found under the "Special Set" section on COURTMAP. You will not receive a Zoom Invite for this Calendar, as all UCD orders are processed without a hearing. Instructions for setting remote UCD hearings: When you have resolved your case, set your UCD through CourtMap. Select the “Special Set” option, then select “Uncontested Calendar for Litigants.”
YOU MUST UPLOAD A PROPOSED FINAL JUDGMENT TO COURTMAP AS A PROPOSED ORDER IN ORDER FOR JUDGE DIAZ TO EXECUTE THE FINAL JUDGMENT. The following documents must be e-filed through the Florida E-filing Portal AND uploaded to CourtMap as Supporting Documents. All supporting documents must have the e-filing stamp, or your submission will be rejected. 1. Petition or Counter Petition 2. Answer or Answer/Waiver 3. Marital Settlement Agreement and/or Parenting Plan. 4. If the Petition has been defaulted please attach the Order of Default. 5. A copy of the Petitioner's and/or Counter Petitioner’s Valid Driver's License, Florida State ID or Voter’s Registration card. 6. Self-Represented Litigants: You will not have to appear in court. The Judge will prepare a final judgment and send it to you electronically. Please make sure you have an email address registered through CourtMAP.
