*Please note: Effective February 1, 2022, all Small Claims Pre-Trial Conferences will be in-person.

Coronavirus/COVID-19: Courthouses are open for in-person Pre-Trial Conference, Non-Jury trial and Jury trials based on public health advisories at the direction of the Florida Supreme Court. The Eleventh Judicial Circuit wants you safe.
We are establishing Virtual Courtrooms. Court hearings in your case that we can hold remotely via video or phone conference will be held on the Zoom platform, which is free to you. You will receive an email from the Court if we are proceeding with your hearing with the information you need to connect. To participate by video, you must click on the weblink you received in the email invitation at the time your hearing is scheduled or call the phone number listed in the invitation to participate by phone. You do not need to download anything or set up an account in order for you to participate in a zoom hearing.
Video appearance is required for any participant whose testimony is necessary so the judge can administer the oath.
Please wait until a day before your scheduled hearing for the court to send you an email containing a Zoom link and instructions.  If you resolve your matter, please cancel it in CourtMAP or, if you have no access to CourtMAP, by calling the judge’s judicial assistant.
Most hearings shall be conducted by Zoom.  Please contact the Court to provide your contact information by calling chambers at (305)569-2506 or by email at idelcastillo@jud11.flcourts.org.

Effective February 28, 2022 we will be using the zoom link/Meeting ID 971 0995 1010 https://zoom.us/j/97109951010  for Judge Levitt's Virtual Courtroom for all hearings (5 minute motion calendar; Special Sets; Attorney's Fees Hearings; calendar call). If you have already been provided a zoom link/meeting ID, please use the one that was provided to you.

For pretrial conferences: IF YOU HAVE AN ATTORNEY, PLEASE HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY CONTACT THE OTHER SIDE TO DISCUSS THIS MATTER.
IF YOU ARE UNREPRESENTED BY AN ATTORNEY, THE ATTORNEY FOR THE OTHER PARTY MIGHT HAVE SENT YOU A LETTER ASKING IF YOU WANT TO SETTLE AND RESOLVE YOUR CASE WITHOUT A HEARING. IF YOU WANT TO DO SO, REVIEW THE TERMS OF THAT  DOCUMENT CAREFULLY, MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND IT AND SIGN WHERE STATED AND MAIL IT BACK TO THE ATTORNEY.  THE ATTORNEY WILL THEN NOTIFY THE COURT AND YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ORDER DISMISSING YOUR CASE WITHOUT A HEARING.

IF YOU ARE AN ATTORNEY:
IF YOU HAVE AN AGREED ORDER, SUBMIT YOUR MOTION OR STIPULATION BY E-FILING AND YOUR PROPOSED ORDER BY COURT MAP
FROM THIS TIME ON UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE OF THE COURT – PREPARE AND SEND DEFENDANT A PROPOSED SETTLEMENT STIPULATION UPON FILING OF THE COMPLAINT. IF YOU RESOLVE THE CASE, SEND THE ORDER OF DISMISSAL VIA COURT MAP.

IF THE CASE IS NOT RESOLVED YOU MAY:
REQUEST A COURT HEARING, CONSULT THE JUDGE’S WEBSITE FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS ON SCHEDULING YOUR HEARING BY ZOOM, OR REQUEST MEDIATION.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION, ATTENTION, AND PATIENCE DURING THIS TIME.
