*Miami-Dade Courts, has issued Administrative Order 21-11, terminated Phase 2 COVID-19 Emergency Court Operations effective June 21, 2021, and reopening to the public all court facilities effective June 28, 2021; however, the 11th Judicial Circuit continues to hold most Domestic Violence Court hearings remotely, via video or phone conference, on the Zoom platform, which is free to you. You will receive correspondence from the Court if we are proceeding with your hearing with the information you need to connect. To participate by video, you must click on the weblink you received at the time your hearing is scheduled or call the phone number listed in the invitation. You do not need to download anything or set up an account to participate. Video appearance is required for any participant whose testimony is necessary so the judge can administer the oath. Parties should adhere to guidelines for Hearings via Zoom. You can contact chambers at 305.349.5701 or lbermudez@jud11.flcourts.org with your email address and case number to allow the court to send you an email containing a Zoom link and instructions.

INTERPRETER REQUEST: If your case requires an interpreter in any language other than Spanish you must request this in an email to lbermudez@jud11.flcourts.org at least 3 days prior to your hearing.
ALL CALLS TO CHAMBERS OTHER THAN EMERGENCY MATTERS WILL BE RESPONDED WITHIN 24 TO 48 HRS. IT IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED THAT PARTIES DO NOT WAIT FOR THE SAME DAY OF THEIR HEARINGS TO CALL CHAMBERS WITH QUESTIONS. KEEP IN MIND TELEPHONE LINES DURINGTHE MORNING HOURS ARE SOMETIMES DIRECTED TO VOICEMAIL UNTIL AFTER CALENDAR HAS CONCLUDED.
Please be aware that certain items are prohibited on courthouse premises. If any listed prohibited item is detected to be in your possession when entering a court facility, you will be asked to exit the facility to secure the item elsewhere or dispose of it, before being allowed entry into the facility.
