PROCEDURES CURRENTLY IN PLACE FOR CASES: 1. Plaintiffs' attorneys are to send Defendants proposed settlement agreements. If the matter is able to be resolved, the Plaintiffs are Ordered to submit an Order of Dismissal based on Settlement through CourtMAP or Notice of Settlement via e-mail to JA and Bailiff. 2. Attorneys can schedule Motion Calendar and Special Set through CourtMAP held virtually through Zoom (Max 15 minutes). 3. If the Plaintiffs fails to serve by PTC date (LIVE & IN-PERSON), a new summons MUST BE SENT TO THE CLERK OF COURT for a new PTC date and appearance is still mandatory.

CANCELLATION of your Special Set hearing must be e-mailed to JA and Bailiff NO LATER than 4:00pm the PRIOR business day or ATTENDANCE for set hearing is REQUIRED! Court SET Hearings cannot be cancelled for parties unless a Notice of Settlement or Order of Dismissal is filed or emailed to JA and Bailiff 24 hours prior or hearing appearance is MANDATORY.
ALL Special Set Hearings ARE OPEN AND YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GO TO COURTMAP AND SCHEDULE ALL HEARINGS on your own and held via Zoom. Special Sets can only be set AFTER coordination. Judge Green does NOT allow more than 15 minutes for special sets and doubling time slots is prohibited. All Motions must be filed with the Clerks' office prior to setting a hearing date and you are required to do an additional Notice of Hearing INLCUDING THE ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS.
The following Motions are NOT to be placed on Special Set Calendar since they are considered Motion Calendar and will be cancelled by the Court: Motion to Compel (discovery), Motion for Leave, Motion to Vacate, Motion for Default, Motion for Protective Order, Motion for Status/Case Management or any 5 minute motion.
Special Set motions include:
1. Partial/Summary Judgments/Judgment on Pleadings 2. Evidentiary Hearings 3. Motion to Determine Rent 4. Objections to Discovery 5. Motion for Fees/Sanctions 6. Motion to Overrule Objection to - BETTER RESPONSES/MORE DEF ANSWER **If any of these motions are placed on Motion Calendar, the court will cancel them**
Please be mindful that, because of docketing delays, filings do not always appear on the docket immediately. Case law or statutes provided in the materials should highlight the relevant portions. ANY RESPONSIVE PLEADING MUST BE FILED AT LEAST 3 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING. COURT SET HEARINGS SET BY COURT MAY NOT BE CANCELLED BY AGREED ORDER OR PARTIES.
CANCELATIONS: The setting party must cancel the hearing on courtMAP and Notices of Cancellation must be filed, even if you have filed a proposed order that includes the cancelation of the hearing. Do not send Courtesy Copies to Chambers.
