Scheduling Guidelines and Instructions:
- Special Sets CANNOT be set on Motion Calendar. The following Motions are NOT to be placed on Motion Calendar:
1. Summary Judgments/Judgment on Pleadings 2. Evidentiary Hearings 3. Attorney's Fees 4. Motion to Determine Rent 5. Motion for Sanctions 6. Motion for More Definite Statement 7. Claim of Exemption 8. Motion to Transfer/ Change of Venue 9. Motion to Overrule Objection to - BETTER RESPONSES/MORE DEF ANSWER 10. Motion for Rehearing
11. Motion to Dismiss **If any of these motions are placed on Motion Calendar, the court will cancel them**
- Two Motions may be set on one Motion Calendar session (total of two for Plaintiff or Defendant OR one for Plaintiff and one for Defendant).
- Any and all scheduled Hearing supporting documentation must be submitted to the Judge no later than 48 hours prior to the hearing ONLY through Court MAP.
- ALL Hearings are Open and you are required to go to Court Map and schedule all hearings.
- If you need to cancel the Hearing, cancel it through Court Map and file a Notice of Cancellation. If you do not have access to cancel, please contact chambers and the hearing will be removed from the calendar. A courtesy copy is not required.
- To schedule a case on the Zoom Motion Calendar, coordinate with opposing counsel. If there is still a scheduling difficulty, after documented reasonable attempts, please file a brief motion explaining the attempts and set on the very next available Motion calendar which only requires 7 business days' notice and the Courts will address the hearing need and scheduling accordingly.
IN-PERSON CALENDARS (WITH NO EXCEPTIONS) will be Non-Jury Trials & Pre-Trial Conferences.
