ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS:  If your case is heard through zoom, you will receive an email from the Bailiff, one or two weeks before the hearing.  If you are not represented by an Attorney and you are a prose litigant, please go online and submit your email information along with your phone number at:  www.jud11.flcourts.org If you do not want your case done through zoom and would prefer to have it done telephonically, please notify the court 5 days prior to your hearing with a motion and order for hearing to be heard telephonically.  Upon approval from the judge, the J.A. will call one or two days prior to arrange telephonic appearance.  If you have access to Courtmap, please check one or two days prior to see if your case has been cancelled and need to be reset.

Any Evidence for a Non-Jury Trial or Special Set Hearing, must be done through the e-file portal 7 Business days prior to your hearing.

  1. All motions and notices of hearing must be uploaded to the eFiling System no later than five (5) business days before the scheduled hearing. 
  1. Please go on CourtMap to schedule all 5 minute Motions.  Setting party must notify all parties of interest and confirm their attendance.
  2. Notices of cancellation shall be faxed to chambers at (305) 354-8765 prior to the scheduled hearing or trial.  Counsel shall also call the J.A. at (305) 354-8722 to confirm the cancellation.
  3. Counsel must call the chambers regarding all motions to continue trial or strike trial dates even if agreed.  The judge will review the motion  and the J.A. will notify counsel of the Court’s determination.

courtMAP is a new online Management and Access Platform built upon technology infrastructure from Broward’s Court Management System.

courtMAP combines eCourtesy with online scheduling, online notification/confirmation, and allows judges to create and e-File orders. courtMAP also allows parties to self-schedule their case events - motion calendar, special sets, and trials - and attach the documentation previously submitted via eCourtesy.
