Motion Calendar in Division 22 is held every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:00 A.M.
Motion Calendar Procedures
In order for your matter to be added to Judge Hanzman's Motion Calendar, the notice of hearing and motion(s) MUST:
(1) be filed with the Clerk; and
(2) courtesy copies, including supporting documents, if any, must be submitted via eCourtesy under "Motion Calendar" at least SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING or the matter will NOT be heard.
Motion Length: If your Motion is over 25 pages (including exhibits), please deliver a courtesy copy to chambers.
Responses: Parties wishing to submit a response to a matter set on Motion Calendar must be sure to file said response with the clerk and submit it via ecourtesy under "Motion Calendar" prior to the hearing date.
Foreclosures: Foreclosure matters submitted on Tuesday or Wednesday will NOT be heard.
E-Filing is used to file pleadings electronically with the Clerk of the Court. It WILL NOT automatically upload to Judge Hanzman's eCourtesy system.
eCourtesy is used to electronically submit courtesy copies to Chambers.
Telephonic Appearances: Attorneys whose practices are outside Miami-Dade County, Florida do not need an order to appear telephonically. Please make arrangement with CourtCall (888) 882-6878, at least two (2) days prior to the hearing.
Attorneys whose practices are within Miami-Dade shall submit a motion and proposed order via eCourtesy, once an order is signed please make arrangements with CourtCall (888) 882-6878 at least two (2) days prior to the hearing.
Cancellations: Counsel for the party who placed the matter on calendar shall file the notice of cancellation with the Clerk of the Court and fax a copy to Chambers at (305)349-7249, prior to the scheduled hearing.
