MOTIONS AND RESPONSES ON SPECIAL SET CASES SHALL BE DELIVERED HARD COPY TO THE JUDGE'S OFFICE IMMEDIATELY AFTER SETTING MATTER. Please see the Special Set folder for further instructions.

Motion Calendar Procedures
In order for your matter to be added to Judge Hanzman's Motion Calendar, the notice of hearing and motion(s) MUST:
(1) be filed with the Clerk; and
(2) courtesy copies, including supporting documents, if any, must be submitted via eCourtesy under "Motion Calendar" at least SEVEN (7) DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING or the matter will NOT be heard.
Responses: Parties wishing to submit a response to a matter set on Motion Calendar must be sure to file said response with the clerk and submit it via ecourtesy under "Motion Calendar" prior to the hearing date.
eCourtesy is used to electronically submit courtesy copies to Chambers. If you submit documents that need immediate attention you call and advise the office.
Telephonic Appearances: Attorneys whose practices are outside Miami-Dade County, Florida do not need an order to appear telephonically on motion calendar. CourtCall hearings will be heard at the end of the calendar.
Attorneys whose practices are within Miami-Dade shall submit their motion and proposed order via eCourtesy, once an order is signed please make arrangements with CourtCall (888) 882-6878 at least two (2) days prior to the hearing.
Cancellations: Counsel for the party who placed the matter on calendar shall file the notice of cancellation with the Clerk of the Court and fax a copy to Chambers at (305)349-7249, prior to the scheduled hearing.
