NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC: The Code of Judicial Conduct governing behavior by judges prohibits the Circuit and County Court Judges of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida to discuss pending cases with the public. Please do not call the Court expecting to speak with a judge about any case. Regarding specific cases, the Court is only allowed to consider arguments made in the courtroom and in documents properly filed by actual parties in the case as authorized by law and the Rules of Court. Any other communication will be considered an ex-parte communication, which means it was sent to the Court without notice to or challenged by an adverse party and therefore, cannot be read by the presiding judge in the case. These types of communications will be returned to the sender. If you wish to submit a proper letter or motion to the presiding judge in a particular case, please do so with a correct case number and proof of copies to other parties involved in the case. If you wish to inquire about the status of a case, you may send a proper motion or request to the Clerk of the Miami-Dade Circuit and County Court, Dade County Courthouse, 73 West Flagler Street, Suite # 242, Miami, Florida 33130. The Clerk’s Office may also be reached by telephone at 305-275-1155 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
