The Jaclyn Elisse Cares for Youth Foundation and G Holmes Braddock Sr High FEA (Future Educators Association) conducted a teddy bear drive to raise awareness of teen dating violence and teen domestic violence, during which they collected more than 400 new teddy bears.
The students at Braddock Sr. High and the JECY Foundation arrived at the William E. Gladstone and Seymour Gelber Miami-Dade Children's Courthouse on March 9, 2018, to deliver the bears, which judges will give to children who appear in court due to child abuse, neglect or abandonment cases.
