MIAMI-DADE COURTS ANNOUNCES
NEWLY EXPANDED COMPLEX BUSINESS LITIGATION DIVISION
The Eleventh Judicial Circuit is pleased to announce that the two additional judges to join the expanded Complex Business Litigation in January, 2017, will be: Circuit Judge Beatrice Butchko and Circuit Judge William Thomas, of the Circuit Civil Division. Judge John Thornton will continue to serve in the division, with Administrative Judge Jennifer Bailey handling a specialized docket of construction defect cases.
“We have an outstanding circuit civil Bench, so this choice was a very difficult one to make. I know Judge Butchko and Judge Thomas will continue to do an outstanding job serving our community in this regard,” said the Honorable Bertila Soto, Chief Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
