A group of students from Immaculata-LaSalle High School’s STEAM Legal Focus Studies visited the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building this past Thursday, Oct. 20th. They joined Judge Richard Hersch in court to learn more about the law and how courts function.
Many thanks to Judge Hersch and staff, Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation and our other court partners, as well as the attorneys who were in court that day for sharing about what you do and answering students’ questions.
STEAM programs in education focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics with an emphasis on creative, hands-on learning.
