Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez, presiding judge and founder of the Miami-Dade Courts' Veteran's Treatment Court, participated in Florida National University's Military Appreciation Event this past May 24th.
FNU gathered speakers from the community to honor their veterans and highlight all the resources available to veterans in Miami-Dade County. The goal: to empower veterans to achieve their dreams.
