We take a moment this month to honor our Chief Bailiff Larry Chester, not only for his distinguished longtime service to the Miami-Dade Courts and the people of Miami-Dade, but also for his remarkable bravery and sacrifice in service to our country, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart.
Honors: Purple Heart Recipient, Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, USMC Good Conduct Medal, USMC Sharpshooter Badge and the USMC Pistol Expert Badge.
