This week our Probate Division partnered with the University of Miami to host a class on tax law for estates, trusts and guardianships at the Lawson E. Thomas Courthouse Center for our Probate judges

Leading the training was Mark Scott, JD, LLM, a professor in the Taxation LLM Program at the University of Miami School of Law.

Judges take continuing education courses to enhance their understanding of law and related fields, ensuring they can continue to make informed and fair decisions in an ever-changing world.
