Judge Lody Jean, our Administrative Judge of the Circuit Criminal Division and her colleagues were honored to participate today in the Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Dept’s 30th Anniversary celebration of the Boot Camp Program.
Boot Camp helps turn young lives around and contributes to safer communities by offering first-time, non-violent offenders ages 14-24 the ability to attend a 16-month, military-style rehabilitative program as part of their sentence.
The program combines academics, vocational training and rehabilitation, and helps cadets build personal development skills that will support a successful re-entry into society.
Congratulations to Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Department, Miami-Dade County and all the Boot Camp government and justice partners on a major milestone in this highly successful program!
