Highlights from the Florida Department of Corrections Re-Entry Simulation training held at the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building last week.
Our Chief Judge Nushin G. Sayfie and fellow #TeamJud11 judges joined other participants from the justice system in gaining a better understanding of the real-life hurdles faced by returning citizens and probationers.
Through the simulation, participants experienced the challenges of trying to find affordable housing, re-enter the workforce, and reconnect with families.
