Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners Unanimously Selects Flagler Street Site for New Civil Courthouse

On Tuesday, July 24, 2018, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously in favor of Flagler Street as the location for a new civil courthouse.

The site is located between Northwest First Street and West Flagler Street, and between the Dade County Courthouse and the Metrorail line.

Miami-Dade County will begin a competitive request for proposals process in August, 2018.
