Congratulations to our #TeamJud11 Judges Lourdes Simon and Steve Leifman on being honored by the Florida Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (FLABOTA) during their 26th Annual Convention in Boca Raton this past week.

Judge Simon received the 2024 Jurist of the Year Award, while Judge Leifman was presented with the Fran Peacock Coker FLABOTA Community Service Award.

The Jurist of the Year Award is presented to a judge who is dedicated to enhancing the jury trial system while demonstrating knowledge, preparedness, and timely decision-making.

The Fran Peacock Coker FLABOTA Community Service Award honors individuals for their commitment to the community as well as children’s literacy and justice, reflecting the values of Fran Peacock Coker.
