The Honorable Scott Bernstein Receives the Theodore Klein Award 2016 for Lifetime Dedication in Support of Women's Issues

The Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers presented the Honorable Scott Bernstein with the 2016 Theodore Klein Award for his lifelong dedication in support of women's issues.

The award was presented to Judge Bernstein during Miami-Dade FAWL's 34th Annual Judicial Reception on December 16, 2016.

Miami-Dade FAWL established the Honorable Theodore Klein Award in 2008 in honor of the late Honorable Theodore Klein, who was the first male member of Miami-Dade FAWL. Each year, the organization presents this award to a male lawyer or judge in the legal community who has demonstrated both initiative and dedication to women’s issues.
