The Honorable Marisa Tinkler Mendez, presiding judge of the Miami-Dade Courts' Veterans Treatment Court, joined her fellow judges and members of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners in congratulating a U.S. Army veteran on his successful completion of court treatment programs.

Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners Unanimously Selects Flagler Street Site for New Civil Courthouse

On Tuesday, July 24, 2018, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously in favor of Flagler Street as the location for a new civil courthouse.

The site is located between Northwest First Street and West Flagler Street, and between the Dade County Courthouse and the Metrorail line.

Miami-Dade County will begin a competitive request for proposals process in August, 2018.
