Foreclosure Assistance (Please see below)

The Spanish American League Against Discrimination (SALAD) provides free Foreclosure, Landlord/Tenant, Ejectment, and Unlawful Detainer assistance to people with low and modest incomes from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. This service is available on a first come, first served basis.

Services are held at the Miami-Dade County Law Library on the 3rd floor of the Dade County Courthouse Room 321 located at 73 West Flagler Street, 33142.

 

Foreclosure Assistance with Legal Forms (Please see below) 

An attorney from the Haitian Lawyers Association (HLA) is available to help self-represented litigants fill out legal forms purchased from the Miami-Dade County Clerk’s office and/or the law library on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This is a free service and is available on a first come, first served basis. FIRST EIGHT PEOPLE ONLY

Lawyer in the Library Wednesdays 

A volunteer lawyer provides free legal guidance on a wide variety of issues from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Wednesday. This service is available on a first come, first served basis.

NOTE: The lawyer is not considered to be one’s personal attorney. No attorney-client relationship is being created with this free service. The lawyer is there to provide general guidance only
