The Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida’s Professionalism and Civility Committee accepted applications from attorneys interested in serving on its Local Professionalism Panels established pursuant to In re: Eleventh Judicial Circuit Professionalism and Civility Committee and Local Professionalism Panel, Fla. 11th Cir. Admin. Order No. 14-01 (February 14, 2014).
Applicants submitted a résumé and personal statement discussing the applicant’s (1) length of time in practice; (2) board certification; (3) trial experience; (4) reputation; (5) leadership in the community; and (6) Members of the panel must undergo training by experienced lawyers involved in The Florida Bar disciplinary process prior to serving on the panels, which may be accomplished by attendance at an appropriate CLE program.
On September 1, 2014, the Panels began accepting referrals.
