Judge Moore holds most hearings via Zoom in her virtual courtroom. Parties should refer to the Notice of Hearing to determine if the hearing will be via Zoom or In-Person.
Anyone can access the Zoom Platform. It is free to all users. You can access the Virtual Courtroom using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Alternatively, you may use a regular phone, which will allow you to appear by phone, but not by video. Please note: Any person who intends to testify must appear via video.

You do not need a participant ID. Please arrive in the Virtual Courtroom at least 5 minutes before your scheduled hearing time.
SMALL CLAIMS PRE-TRIAL CONFERENCES--take place In-Person at the North Dade Justice Center. Any party wishing to appear remotely, must file a motion no less than 7 days before the hearing date. Judge Moore does NOT accept Proposed Orders Invoking the Rules of Civil Procedure. Attorneys seeking to waive appearance, may contact the Judicial Assistant for instructions.
FWOPS--VIA ZOOM--Appearance is mandatory. Judge Moore DOES NOT accept Proposed Orders Granting Good Cause prior to the FWOP Hearing. Filing Motions to Show Cause DO NOT excuse the parties from appearing. You can email the J.A. for further instructions on how to waive appearance.
CALENDAR CALL--VIA ZOOM--Appearance is mandatory. Filing a Notice of Settlement DOES NOT cancel the hearing. You can email the J.A. for further instructions on how to waive appearance.
NON-JURY TRIALS--To request a date for a non-jury trial (via Zoom or In-person), please email the Judicial Assistant Arina at ashchegolikhina@jud11.flcourts.org. Please be sure to include the total amount of time required for the trial, and copy opposing counsel on your email.

You must call the judge's chambers and advise us of your filing after your filing reflects on the docket.
