Judge Moore holds most hearings via Zoom in her virtual courtroom.
Anyone can access the Zoom Platform. It is free to all users. You can access the Virtual Courtroom using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Alternatively, you may use a regular phone, which will allow you to appear by phone, but not by videoPlease note: Any person who intends to testify must appear via video.

SMALL CLAIMS PRE-TRIAL CONFERENCES ARE IN-PERSON and MANDATORY APPEARANCE IS REQUIRED. JUDGE DOES NOT ACCEPT ORDERS INVOKING THE RULES. TO WAIVE APPEARANCE YOU MUST CONTACT THE JUDICIAL ASSISTANT.

FWOPS -- VIA ZOOM -- APPEARANCE IS MANDATORY ON ZOOM REGARDLESS OF ANY FILINGS.

COURTESY BINDERS OR EMAILS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. ALL PLEADINGS AND NOTICES MUST BE FILED 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF HEARING.

Please arrive in the Virtual Courtroom at least 5 minutes before your scheduled hearing time.
The setting party must provide Notice of Hearing with instructions on how to appear using Zoom to the opposing party when scheduling a hearing and must file the notice with the Clerk. The NOH automatically generated by courtMAP is not sufficient as it does not reflect the Zoom meeting information.

Motion Calendar Procedures:

In order for your matter to be added to the Judge’s Motion Calendar, the notice of hearing and motion(s) MUST be filed with the Clerk.

Written Notice to Opposing Counsel/Parties prior to hearing shall be provided immediately after hearing is set by a party, along with a copy of the motion.

UNILATERAL SETTINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED unless otherwise stated in a court order; CONTACT J.A. FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS on how to uniset.

MEDIATION: Mediation requests must be emailed to the judicial assistant with contact information for both parties. Do not contact the Mediation Division as they can't set without a request from the J.A.

CANCELLATIONS:  Setting party must cancel the hearing on courtMAP and Notices of Cancellation must be filed. Chambers does not need a courtesy copy of the NOC (unless it is for a special set hearing).

EVICTION MATTERS: To set a landlord/tenant matter, please email the judicial assistant with your request. DO NOT SET ON A 5 MINUTE MOTION CALENDAR.
