Courthouses are closed for in-person hearings and trials based on public health advisories and at the direction of the Florida Supreme Court. The Eleventh Judicial Circuit wants you safe at home.

Small Claims Pre-Trial Conferences AND FWOP's in this division will proceed in a virtual courtroom via Zoom starting April 20, 2020.  Please call or email the Judicial Assistant, 2-3 days prior to the day of your hearing, for information on the time your case will be heard.

Small Claims Pre-Trial Conferences: Appearance is not required if Stipulated Waiver is filed with the Clerk of Courts and Order Invoking Rules of Civil Procedures is submitted to the judge in advance.

Evidentiary Hearings and Non-Jury Trials are moving forward. Please see standing order under the Documents Tab on this page.

Cases that were set with future hearing dates, prior to the closing of the courts, are moving forward as scheduled, via Zoom.

Setting party must file and provide Notice of Hearing with instructions on how to appear using Zoom to opposing party when scheduling a hearing. The NOH automatically generated by courtMAP is not sufficient as it will not reflect that the hearing is via the Zoom platform.

Motions and Orders to appear remotely are not needed for Zoom hearings.

Anyone can access the Zoom Platform. It is free to all users. You do not need to download anything or set up an account to access the Virtual Courtroom. You can access the Virtual Courtroom using a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Alternatively, you may use a regular phone, which will allow you to appear by phone, but not by video.

**** Video appearance is required for any participant who will be testifying. This allows the Judge to administer the oath.****
