In light of recent events regarding the COVID-19 pandemic:

*All non-emergency hearings will be cancelled and rescheduled.

*Emergency hearings (i.e. Landlord/Tenant, Garnishment, etc.) will be heard telephonically or through the Zoom application.  Attorneys, there is no need to file a motion for telephonic hearing.

*Pre-Trial Conferences are cancelled and will be scheduled at a later date.  When they resume, they will be held with the Zoom application.

*Mediations will be rescheduled at a later date to be held telephonically.  Please submit any relevant documentation to mediationdivision@jud11.flcourts.org.  Please include your case number, case style, and division number so that the information is disseminated correctly.

Unilateral Scheduling:  Do not schedule hearings without coordinating with opposing counsel.  If you are having difficulty getting in contact with opposing counsel to schedule, file a motion to the docket.  If problems persist, please contact Chambers.

Cancellations:  If a case settles prior to a trial or other hearing, moving counsel must file a Notice of Cancellation on courtMAP and email a copy to jhutson@jud11.flcourts.org and mmesa@jud11.flcourts.org .  If the cancellation occurs less than 36 hrs prior to the scheduled hearing, please contact Chambers in addition to filing.

Mailings:  Unless otherwise directed, do not address any packages containing motions, orders, payments, etc. to Chambers.  Please send to the Clerk's Office at the North Dade Justice Center (15555 Biscayne Blvd, Room 100  North Miami Beach, FL  33160) to avoid delays in processing.
