Division Procedures:  Please see the full Division procedures attached below as they contain relevant information regarding motions, hearing dates, etc. and will answer many questions.  The Court expects all attorneys appearing in this Division to have read and reviewed all Division procedures.  Failure to have reviewed the procedures will not be considered grounds for excusing noncompliance.

ARRAIGNMENTS:

Beginning January 5, 2026, Arraignments will be held bi-monthly in Division 03.  These are the following dates for arraignments in 2026:

January 14 & 28
February 11 & 25
March 11 & 25
April 15 & 29
May 13 & 27
June 10 & 24
July 15 & 29
August 12 & 26
September 9 & 23
October 14 & 28
November 12 & 20
December 9 & 22

ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES:

1. DEFENDANTS MUST APPEAR IN PERSON FOR TRIAL & for Motions to Quash Alias Capias.
2. Defendants & Attorneys may appear via Zoom for daily calendar.  ZOOM virtual hearings are held at 9:30 a.m.  DAILY

RULES REGARDING ZOOM APPEARANCES:

1. Arraignments begin promptly at 9:30 AM Daily.

2. Defendants will be brought to Court for Plea and Trial.

3. Defendants must appear for Sounding, but can appear on Zoom.

4. Defendants and Attorneys must appear IN PERSON for Trial and Hearings.

5. Defendants do not have to appear for Motions to Compel or Rules to Show Cause Against Others.

6. Priority given to attorneys appearing IN PERSON, then attorneys appearing on Zoom, then defendants IN PERSON, then defendants on Zoom

7. Remain MUTED until your case is called.  Failure to do so will result in your being placed back in the virtual waiting room.

8. DEFENDANTS: Dress appropriately. Mute yourselves until your case is called and turn on your camera.

9.  ATTORNEYS: Enter your client’s name in the chat so you may be called out of turn.  

10.  Appearance via Zoom is the equivalent to appearing in Court.  All attorneys are expected to be dressed appropriately and have instructed their clients to do the same.  Appearing lying in bed, shirtless, or other states of inappropriate dress will be grounds for the Court removing a party from the Zoom.

For ALL Motions/Orders that exceed 10 pages attorney's must provide Chambers with a paper copy.
