Judicial Section Details

Daily Calendar begins at 9:00am Monday through Friday.

By order of the Administrative Judge the Criminal Courthouse is OPEN for in-person hearings BUT the Court will OPEN DAILY ZOOM Virtual Calendar to accommodate those that prefer to appear on Zoom.

DIVISION 13 PROCEDURES: To place a case on Judge Hersch's calendar: email your request along with a proposed agreed date and copy of the motion to f013@jud11.flcourts.org - Please be advised all parties to the case must be included in the email. If you are e-filing motions, please add the division's email in the e-filing portal to ensure Chambers receives a copy. 

PLEAS:
When an agreed plea is taking place, the defense attorney must fill out our plea form that is attached and turn in personally or scan to the JA BEFORE the plea takes place. 

DEFENDANTS MUST APPEAR IN PERSON for TRIAL, PLEAS, EVIDENTIARY HEARINGS, & to QUASH A/C.

To place cases on the calendar, please email f013@jud11.flcourts.org for a quicker response. Provide the defendant's court information and the reason for the hearing. If you are placing a motion or probation violation on calendar, please provide a courtesy copy of the motion/ violation for Judge Hersch to review prior to the court date. 

-Defendant's must be present for all hearings, unless previously excused by the Court.

Virtual ZOOM ID:
Please call to obtain the Zoom ID. Please be prepared to provide information to properly screen to prevent any Zoom bombing incidents

RULES REGARDING ZOOM APPEARANCES:
1. Remain MUTED until your case is called.
2. DEFENDANTS: dress appropriately. Mute yourselves until your case is called and turn on your camera.
3. ATTORNEYS: enter your client’s name in the chat so you may be called out of turn.
4. ATTORNEYS appearing in person, in court will be called first.
