The Eleventh Judicial Circuit is seeking qualified applicants to join our wheel of qualified examining committee members. The Circuit maintains, in accordance with 744.331(3)(c), a list prepared by the Chief Judge of persons qualified to serve on an examining committee. When a Petition for Determination of Incapacity is filed, the court appoints an examining committee consisting of three (3) individuals from our wheel of qualified professionals to examine the alleged incapacitated person and provide written reports to the court as to the alleged incapacitated person’s capacity to exercise their rights as specified in Florida Statute 744.3215. Psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians with experience in the mental health field and other professionals qualified under Florida Statute 744.331.(3)(a) may apply.
