Congratulations to Deputy Chief Judge Gina Beovides, who was recognized today at the Conference of Circuit Court Judges of Florida with the Chief Justice Award for Judicial Excellence.
The Chief Justice Award, established in 2015 and bestowed annually, recognizes one county court judge and one circuit judge who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the judicial branch and who personify judicial excellence.
In her remarks, Judge Beovides expressed heartfelt gratitude to her family, her colleagues and to Chief Judge Ariana Fajardo Orshan and Deputy Chief Judge Ivonne Cuesta. She also extended a special thank‑you to former Chief Judge Bertila Soto, acknowledging her as a role model.
The award was presented by Chief Justice John Couriel along with Judge Victoria del Pino, Outgoing Chair of the Conference of Circuit Court Judges.
