Congratulations to Judges Betty Capote and Miguel de la O for receiving the 2026 Florida Jurist Award, presented each year by a coalition of Bar associations in recognition of the many contributions of Florida's Hispanic judges.
The awards were presented recently at St. Thomas University College of Law by the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida, and the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association.
