If your hearing is scheduled via Zoom platform you will receive an email a day before from the Court with the date and time of the hearing along with the Zoom ID.
To participate by video, you must click on the weblink you received in the email invitation at the time your hearing is scheduled. To participate by phone you must dial the phone number listed in the invitation.
Video appearance is required for any participant whose testimony is necessary so the Judge can administer the oath. Please wait until a day before your scheduled hearing for the court to send you an email containing a Zoom link and instructions. If you resolve your matter, please cancel it in CourtMAP or, if you have no access to CourtMAP, by emailing the Judge’s judicial assistant at drosario@jud11.flcourts.org. If you are unfamiliar with the Zoom platform, please go to the Zoom training page website to learn how to access the platform for use. This is the only method for filing and receiving pleadings and court notices. All parties must also register with the CourtMap system to view the case and submit required evidence or additional documents. Important: In order to create a CourtMAP account, you must first register with the State of Florida’s E-Filing Portal for the case in which you are a self-represented litigant. If you have not registered your email for the case number with the E-Filing Portal, follow the below instructions in order to create a CourtMAP account. 1. Create an account with the Florida E-Filing Portal. 2. Complete the Designation of Current Service Address form. 3. Submit the Designation of Current Service Address Form to your case via the E-Filing Portal. View instructions 4. Once you have created an account with the E-Filing Portal and have submitted the form, return to CourtMAP to register by entering the case number and email used with the E-Filing Portal below. Remote 5 Minute Motion Calendar for Division FC19 – Judge Veronica A. Diaz Motion Calendar will be held for NON-EVIDENTIARY matters every Tuesday and every Wednesday, at 9:15 AM. Motion calendar hearings are limited to 5 minutes per case. To set a matter on the Court's motion calendar for hearing: 1) Select the date from the Court's motion calendar availability (found on courtMAP for motion calendar only). 2) Create the event on courtMAP (set your hearing), upload all supporting documents (filed motion, notice of hearing, etc.). *DO NOT create multiple events (set multiple hearings); the system allows for two (2) motions to be set for each case. The Court will not hear more than two (2) motions per case per motion calendar.** 3) Once a green "Success" message appears, the hearing has made calendar. IMPORTANT: Although the movant and the parties listed on the service list at the time the hearing is set will receive an email from CourtMAP indicating that an event has been created, a notice of hearing will not automatically generate. The movant MUST e-file the notice of hearing via the e-portal system. Include 11thFC19@jud11.flcourts.org in all filings. To confirm a hearing, click on the "calendar" tab in the navigation bar and then on "view events," select the hearing date; the scheduled hearing will appear. You can also click on "calendar," then on "events by case" and enter the case number; all upcoming hearings for that case number will appear. To cancel a motion calendar hearing: Movants cancelling a hearing shall e-file a notice of cancellation and also cancel the hearing on courtMAP. To do this, click on: -calendar, -view events, -select the case, -click case status ready, -click cancel from the dropdown, -click save, -select cancellation reason, -click confirm cancellation.
