Once the motion is filed, CALL CHAMBERS AT 305-349-6240 TO ADVISE OF THE EMERGENCY SO THAT THE MATTER CAN BE DEALT WITH IMMEDIATELY.
The Judge will read and respond to all emergencies immediately. Hearings will be held in court or remotely via ZOOM. All emergencies will be handled on a case by case basis and the parties must follow the emergency procedures listed on this website.
1. Your motion must contain a certification that the matter is a true Emergency and cannot wait to be heard during a motion calendar. 2. You must be prepared to appear before the Court within 30 minutes of submission of the Emergency Motion to the Court. 3. Call chambers to confirm receipt.
Please be aware that certain items are prohibited on courthouse premises. If any listed prohibited item is detected to be in your possession when entering a court facility, you will be asked to exit the facility to secure the item elsewhere or dispose of it, before being allowed entry into the facility.
