THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR NOTICE OF HEARING OR YOUR MATTER WILL NOT BE HEARD:

1) Date the Motion was filed;
2) Name of the Person the hearing was coordinated with*
    (COORDINATION IS MANDATORY)
3) The name of the Discovery Motion and what is sought

5 MINUTE MOTION CALENDAR PROCEDURE:

1) Motion MUST be filed with the clerk
2) Submit Notice of Hearing on courtMAP under Motion Calendar Tab
3) File Courtesy copy, including supporting documents and exhibits via courtMAP under Motion Calendar Tab AT LEAST (5) DAYS PRIOR to the HEARING or your matter will NOT be heard

4) The Court, after review of any motions filed by either party, may summarily grant or deny relief without hearing. In such a case, the Court will provide Notice of Cancellation of the hearing to both parties. 

Motion Length:  If your motion is over 25 pages, (including exhibits), please deliver a courtesy copy to Chambers. 

Responses:  Parties wishing to submit a response, must be sure to file said response with the Clerk and submit via courtMAP under Motion Calendar tab prior to the hearing date.

Proposal For Settlements:  May be scheduled unilaterally by either party so long as the opposing party is given 7 days' notice.

Motions for Reconsideration/Rehearing:  Submit to the judicial assistant by email:  HViera-sanchez@jud11.flcourts.org   then await further instructions from Chambers.

Telephonic Appearances: 

Telephonic request must but sent to the Judge for approval in the form of a motion via courtMAP.  Please do not assume that your motion is granted unless you receive a signed order by the Judge. Once approved, please set telephonic hearing through COURT CALL at (888) 882-6878. Court Call MUST be set 48 hours in advance prior to the hearing date. No calls to chambers to appear by phone will be accepted.

Cancellations:  The party requesting the original hearing must file the Notice of Cancellation.  File the Notice with the Clerk via ECOURTESY and fax a copy to Chambers to: 305-520-4050 prior to the scheduled hearing.
