2) Motions in Limine and Evidentiary hearings
3) Summary Judgment Motions
4) Fee Hearings
5) Trial Continuance Motions

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR NOTICE OF HEARING OR YOUR MATTER WILL NOT BE HEARD:

1) Date the Motion was filed;
2) Name of the Person the hearing was coordinated with*
    (COORDINATION IS MANDATORY)
3) The name of the Discovery Motion and what is sought

5 MINUTE MOTION CALENDAR PROCEDURE

1) Motion MUST be filed with the clerk
2) Submit Notice of Hearing on courtMAP under Motion Calendar Tab
3) File Courtesy copy, including supporting documents and exhibits via courtMAP under Motion Calendar Tab AT LEAST (5) DAYS PRIOR to the HEARING or your matter will NOT be heard

4) The Court, after review of any motions filed by either party, may summarily grant or deny relief without hearing. In such a case, the Court will provide Notice of Cancellation of the hearing to both parties. 

MOTION LENGTH

If your motion is over 25 pages, (including exhibits), please deliver a courtesy copy to Chambers 5 days before.  

RESPONSES

Parties wishing to submit a response, must be sure to file said response with the Clerk and submit via courtMAP under Motion Calendar tab prior to the hearing date.

MOTIONS FOR RECONSIDERATION/REHEARING

Submit to the judicial assistant by email:  HViera-sanchez@jud11.flcourts.org   then await further instructions from Chambers.

 

CANCELLATIONS

The party requesting the original hearing must file the Notice of Cancellation.  File the Notice with the Clerk via courtMAP and fax a copy to Chambers to: 305-520-4050 prior to the scheduled hearing.
